I work with a wide range of people, including those who feel anxious in gyms, are rebuilding confidence after injury or illness, navigating body changes, or looking to improve strength and performance in a more sustainable way. I also support athletes and professionals managing pressure, burnout, or motivation challenges.
-
Not at all. You don’t need any level of fitness to begin — we start exactly where you are. The focus is on building from your current starting point in a way that feels safe, achievable, and realistic.
-
Sessions are a mix of physical training and mindset work, depending on your goals. That might include strength training, movement coaching, confidence building in the gym, or conversations around motivation, habits, and barriers. Everything is tailored to you.
-
Sessions can take place in-person (location dependent) or online, depending on what works best for you.
-
Completely normal. A lot of people I work with feel this way at the beginning. We take things at your pace, and nothing is rushed. The aim is to help you feel more comfortable, not more overwhelmed.
-
Yes. A big part of my work is helping people feel more confident and less overwhelmed in gym environments, whether that’s learning how to use equipment, understanding programming, or working through confidence barriers.
-
If you’re unsure, that’s okay. You’re welcome to reach out for a chat first — there’s no pressure to book until it feels right for you.
-
Yes - absolutely. The Mindset in Motion Psych is queer-founded and a fully LGBTQIA+ inclusive and affirming space.
